Joshie Harriette’s lighting is distinctive and ingenious’

The Times

‘Lighting designer Joshie Harriette’s spotlights feature memorably throughout: they caress Evita, dazzle and delight in her, and sometimes even set like the sun’

Guardian

‘Blaring spotlights (lighting by Joshie Harriette) shine out over the crowd, bringing them in on the action’

What’s on stage

‘The lighting design (Joshie Harriette) complements the simplicity of the set to perfection. Lighting is used with aplomb to frame scenes and draw our attention to the mood. The pairing of light and set are masterful and give a very modern feel to the action’

EastMidlandsTheatre

‘Joshie Harriette’s lighting plays a key part in creating the feel of the production, sparkling alongside Eva’s career rather than setting like the sun when she dies. Great stuff’

ReviewsHub

‘Joshie Harriette’s lighting design continues the high-wattage rock concert theme, and the huge circular rig for the opening “Requiem” is stunning’

Punctualsally

‘Joshie Harriette’s spectacular lighting design. The lighting is nothing short of incredible – frequently blinding the audience with audience-facing rigs, flashing and strobing the performers, and bringing up and down from the fly tower an array of rigs that, in clear view of the audience, form not only part of the set but create a wide variety of effects and tableaus that amaze and dazzle in equal measure. It would not be unfair for me to say this may well be some of the best lighting I’ve seen on stage this year’
